Topic: Digiface Dante - Brigde9999 control
Hi All,
I have a Digiface Dante connected to a MacBook Pro M2 via supplied USB C lead. Bridge9999 selected as Primary Dante network interface in Dante Controller. WiFi is turned off and no other network adapters plugged in. All good and working as expected.
However if I enable WiFi on the Macbook, all Dante devices are immediately lost in Dante Controller. Audio continues to flow uninterrupted. The same happens if I plug another network adapter in with a static IP address and subnet for a different VLAN to the Dante Primary network. In this case it's for NDI5 control. As soon as I turn WiFi off or remove the NIC adapter, all devices are restored in Dante Controller after a pause of a few mins.
It seems like the Dante network control element via Bridge9999 is interrupted. Has anyone else had this issue I wonder?
If I connect the Digiface via a Primary port to the MacBook with an ethernet cable into a NIC adapter, thus bypassing the Bridge9999 implementation and selecting the NIC as the Dante Primary network interface in Dante Controller, I can have WiFi and Other NIC adapters plugged in no problem.
Thanks in advance.
