Topic: ADI-2 Pro FS R - Feature request

A request if any developers happen to be passing.

I've owned an ADI-2 DAC for some time and recently decided to add an ADI-2 Pro FS R to the mix.  Both excellent devices.  I use them in a hi-fi environment.  One of my main reasons for having the ADI-2 Pro is parametric equalization.

On the ADI-2 DAC it is easy to see which EQ Preset is in effect; it is displayed on the "Dark Volume Details" screen.  This is convenient, I have several EQ Presets I apply depending on which headphones are in use.  On the ADI-2 Pro FS R there doesn't seem to be an equivalent (unless I have missed an option somewhere).  Would it be possible to add the current EQ Preset information to one of the "Top Screens" on the ADI-2 Pro FS R as well?

Thank you.

Simply press “EQ” once to show it’s screen for some time.

Thank you for the reply.

I have several different EQs depending on the headphones in use.  The headphones are not connected directly to the ADI-2 Pro, but to a downstream headphone / pre-amplifier.  It is not immediately obvious from the EQ graph as to which EQ is enabled.

It takes two presses of the EQ button to see which EQ preset has been selected and even then, it merely gives the preset number, not the name.  To see the EQ name may take further presses of encoder 2.

That is far less convenient than on the ADI-2 DAC where the information is available on a Top Screen that can be left permanently displayed, hence my request.

Re: ADI-2 Pro FS R - Feature request

Ah... I have discovered that if I press the "EQ" button, then press encoder 2, that gives me the EQ preset label on the graph and it "remembers" that state; that's an improvement.  I wonder if I can get that screen to appear by pressing a button on the remote...

edit:  Oh... but it doesn't retain that preference over a power-cycle sad  So that doesn't really help.

Have you tried the ADI-2 Remote program? It makes everything so much easier. (Only of use if you're connected to a computer of course.)
