Topic: RME DPS-2 front led problem

A problem and a question:

1) the DPS-2 has two front leds. what's precisely the meaning?

2) my unit has a defective front button. according to the manual, it should turn autodark mode off.
instead, it's basically dead. if you press it 9 times out of 10 nothing happens. if you insist and press it hard, sometimes the left LED turns on (white), but then it turns off again after some seconds.
any hint?

Re: RME DPS-2 front led problem

1) is clearly described in the manual. IMHO.

2) The button pressed is AutoDark off. If the button is out (matching the front plate) the LED of the used DC output should turn off after about 15 seconds (with no DC cable plugged both LEDs will be on in white). If the switch in outer position does not lght up one or two LEDs then unfortunately you need to return the unit.

It's just a mechanical issue... The button does not "connect" and stay pressed.

I just got noted that you might actuate the button not deep enough. This one can not be pressed in by your finger - you need a pen or similar to press it in far enough to stay pressed. Please try.
