Topic: [Solved] 12Mic - Jumping meter despite no signal

Hi,

I have two 12Mic units connected to a Digiface AVB and in Totalmix I have the meter for one channel (21, input 9 of the second 12Mic) bouncing up and down even though there is nothing connected, gain is set to -inf, phantom power is off, and there should be no sound coming through. There is nothing audible happening when I monitor this input (and nothing on the 12Mic meters or in my DAW), but the meter jumping up and down is distracting.

I know the workaround is to hide the channels I'm not using, but this behaviour is confusing so I thought I'd reach out. Has anyone ever encountered this before?

Did you try reset of network switch / hub ?

Updating the switch firmware solved it, thank you! Its easy to forget that little box is there…
