Topic: Fireface UFX - Input Glitch - No Sound

Hi there,

I bought this Fireface UFX used, and it seems completely useless.

The inputs are recording an extreme signal even though nothing is plugged in.

And I cannot seem to route any sound to my speakers.

Any ideas? Was I scammed, or did I just not set it up properly?

Please tell us
- computer os (Win/ Mac) you use
- RME driver version
- UFX firmware version (visible in Fireface settings app)
Have you tried different USB cables and ports?

UCX - FF 400 - Babyface pro - Digiface USB - ADI-2 (original)
Mac mini M1 - Macbook pro - iPad Air2

I'm afraid the power supply is dying here. Nothing you can do in the software, it's a hardware fault.
Please contact your local distributor for service options.
