Topic: Please help with ADAT - FF UCX2 & FF400

I have a UCX 2 and a Fireface 400, running on a Macbook Pro M1 under Monterey.

What I want to do is this:
Use the UCX 2 as the clock > FF400 via SPDIF coaxial. IT WORKS, it clocks perfectly.
Use the FF400 as AD > ADAT into UCX 2 DOES NOT WORK

I chose this way because of the cables I have.

I have updated drivers, restarted several times.
The TotalMix shows output going to ADAT channels, but nothing is coming in on the UCX2

I changed the ADAT direction, sending signals from the UCX2 into the FF400. IT WORKS

Please help, what am I missing? Are my settings OK?

…Fireface 400 settings window bottom left: SPDIF Out - uncheck 'optical'!

UCX - FF 400 - Babyface pro - Digiface USB - ADI-2 (original)
Mac mini M1 - Macbook pro - iPad Air2

Yes! Thank you both
It works... after setting up the studio for many hours and many cables, it was hard to find this smile

BTW - the UCX II is a superb device. But what is really impressing, the Fireface 400 is still functioning flawlessly and sounding great! after almost 20 years..  from OS X on the powerPC, to Intel and now to Mx smile
thank you RME for continuing to update drivers!!
