Yes, but why ?
The Minidisc player has a SPDIF output, right ?
Even, if it has a TOSLink Output with SPDIF signal (most players haven't, but you can get used ones with digital out for about 100 bucks) there are other points to think about:
Normal minidisc is ATRAC: 292 kbit/s bit rate. Digitizing with an ADI-2/4 would be heavy overkill. Hi-MD (1400 kbit/s) would be better, well ...
The transfer is "single speed", you will need a lot of time
You get one large file from one minidisc and have to separate the tracks, more time necessary ...
The tracks are not tagged, without use is not easy, better tag it, more time ...
For commercial recordings, think about buying a new download. Better quality, already tagged, saves a lot of time. I would do the process, do it yourself, only for privat recordings.

Yes, it does and a Digiface USB would do the trick.

It's about the ADI-2/4 Pro, and yes, that will work fine as well.
Unless of course you somehow want to preserve the specific sound quality of your MD player's analog outputs, in which case an analog connection would work just fine as well and without loss.
Sorry for my bad englisch. By commercial recordings I meant music that has been bought. Privat recordings meant recordings as self-made, one can't buy today.
I see...Never mind, I didn't read it correctly. But anyway, if the playback quality is good enough with the MD player, then it will also be good enough after transfer to the PC, analog or digital.
