Topic: Digicheck Totalyser gets no signal with HDSPe RayDat

Hello,
I have a RayDat since a decade this year but I don't usually use the Digicheck solution beyond some testings long time ago.

Now I wanted to use it, so I downloaded the new RME driver updated this year 2024 and the Digicheck software.

Digicheck gets no signal, with or without the Loopback from the TotalMix.

What's happening?

I also use the SonarWorks Reference 4 system for room correction that creates different output on Windows, but even closing that software and using the RayDay directly, Digicheck does not work.

Something curious, is that in Input Device Setup (F3) it appears as HDSP MADI,  that couldn't be a sign of the issue?

Did you try change Source from input to output ?

M1-Sonoma, Madiface Pro, Digiface USB, Babyface silver and blue

What is the Digicheck version #?

Looks like Digicheck Version 5.96. And it also looks like its a Windows 10 or 11.
The Statusbar indicates "No Device Running".

papawise, maybe you did not enable Audio Processing in Options?
Anyhow, if i remember right, for running Win10/11 Directx 12 is required.
So, maybe it makes sense to use the latest DigicheckNG Version for your Win10/11?

Device "HDSP MADI" appears on Digicheck Version 5.96 if you do not have anything plugged in and/or driver installed.
Sure you have the latest drivers Version 4.47 installed?

there are only 2 options, "Input" and "Playback" and yes, I tried both, with no effect.

this file solved the problem, I don't know why I have another version. I've got it in the website couple of days ago, but thank you anyways.

This version also looks very different to the traditional silver one of Digicheck that I've tried in the past, but it looks even better in my opinion and luckily you can resize it now!

Thanks maggie33, problem solved.

Maybe you clicked on the Windows (Vista/Win7 Version) this in your RayDat Digicheck DL Section.
There also exist Windows 10/11 Versions, which points you to Digicheck NG (=New Generation) you just installed.

BTW: if you also want to check the current Beta auf Digicheck NG, which has new Instruments, like the Oscilloscope, Totalyser and other enhancements - Have a look here:

Re: Digicheck Totalyser gets no signal with HDSPe RayDat

Just one remark:

If "Digicheck 5.92" is not a typo, it is a version from 2018. The current "traditional" DIGICheck is 5.96 and should work with newer HDSPe RayDat.

Good to know, Ralf. Thanks.
