Topic: Dangerous AD+ via AES to ADI-2 Pro FS R BE which Cable

Hi there,
i want to record analog with my Dangerous Music AD+ Converter and send the signal parallel out digitally via the AES Output to my FS R digitally via the AES input/breakout cable and monitor it though the Analog output. (A/B)

Dangerous says:
When connecting AES, use a high quality 110 ohm cable.

RME ADI-2 Manual says:
Connection is accomplished using balanced cables with XLR plugs
and
"according to AES3-1992"

I just need 1m/1,5m Cable.
When i search for a 110Ohm Cable i mostly come up with something like this:

Non of them says AES3-1992 or balanced

Why doesnt state the RME Manual 110Ohm cables ?
This is confusing. I never used the AES/EBU Connection before.

You can google everywhere that a balanced AES cable has 110 ohms according to the standard.
At least the information is very easy to get hold of.

I just looked in a random store, AES cable, 110 Ohm. It's quite simple to get such a cable.

I think I once read that normal microphone cable should also work for shorter cable runs, but I am not sure, never tried it.
You can give it a quick try. But even if it works, I would just buy an AES cable with 110 ohms and be done with it.

Thanks but it says nowhere that RME AES uses 110Ohm, THat was my question. as i just says "Balanced" which suggest, what you suggested that a "normal" symmetric cable should do.
However, i guess im ordering one of these.

Even 10 meter mic cable works perfectly...
