Topic: Feedback and Recommendations Needed for HDSP 9632 Audio SoundCard Issu

Hi Team,

Issue #1: Saturated Output with "0dB Sinetone" Input Stream.

Description: Saturated output is observed while using the "0dB Sinetone" input stream (please refer to the snapshot below).

Details: When we use the "0dB Sinetone" input stream to pump the input and record the output using the HDSP 9632 Audio SoundCard, saturated output is observed.
In this case, the input is directly loopback to the output in the HDSP 9632 Audio SoundCard(there is no interconnection between any hardware in the Audio SoundCard).

Note:
Input Stream: 0dB Sinetone
Input Frequency: 48kHz, 192kHz
Input Pumping Tool: Foobar
Output Recording Tool: SpectraPlus
Input pumping and output recording Device: RME Hammerfall DSP 9632

Could you please share your feedback on whether any settings need to be changed for this verification or if there are any other recommendations?

Issue #2: 192kHz Input Pumping and Output Recording Issue

Description: While verifying the 192kHz input pumping and output recording in the HDSP 9632 Audio SoundCard, only one port is working at a time (either SPDIF In port or SPDIF Out port).

Details:
Scenario 1 (Without any hardware interfaced): The input is directly loopback to the output in the HDSP 9632 Audio SoundCard and it is working fine.
Scenario 2 (With hardware interfaced): Only one port is working fine at a time (either SPDIF In port or SPDIF Out port) while verifying the 192kHz input pumping and output recording in the HDSP 9632 Audio SoundCard.

Note:
Input Stream: Sinetone
Input Frequency: 192kHz
Input Pumping Tool: Foobar
Output Recording Tool: SpectraPlus
Input pumping and output recording device: RME Hammerfall DSP 9632

Could you please share your feedback on whether any settings need to be changed for this verification or if there are any other recommendations?

If your recorded signal is too saturated then just lower the volumen at the Foobar player. 0dB signal is full power loud make it lower.

May you share a screenshot of your Totalmix ?

The translation is quite bad, but it seems you do no overload (distort) the analog output, but the analog input. That can easily happen with analog loopbacks. Lowering the output level in TM FX by 0.x dB will already help. Or set the input RefLev one step higher than the output.
