Topic: Need help to expand HDSPE AIO PRO

I am not an expert, so please bear with me. I have recently purchased an HDSPE AIO PRO card and need to expand its analog inputs and outputs. Specifically, I would like to add 4 analog inputs and 4 analog outputs. Could you suggest how to do this? What type of RME interface do I need? Thank you

Re: Need help to expand HDSPE AIO PRO

Unfortunately RME has no longer an ADI-8 in the product catalog, if you find one on the second-hand-marked, ADI-8 DS / QS would be a great solution.
Otherwise from other brands any Adat converter will work.

Or if older HDSPE AIO (nonPRO) would do. It may be expanded by 4 in and 4 out expansion cards.

There is one for sale secondhand, if you are in EU.

Unfortunately, newer PRO version of card cannot be expanded this way. The only solution is what Waedi suggests.

Re: Need help to expand HDSPE AIO PRO

Arturia just came out with several units. https://www.arturia.com/products?categories=audio

But I went with the Ferrofish_pulse16. Also don't forget that RME's interfaces can be used as stand alone converters also, Like the UCX 2. The advantage to doing that is that if anything goes wrong with that internal card, you'll have a USB interface backup.
