Topic: UCX II Encoder doesn't change mix levels

Hi there.
Trying to adjust mix to phones level for Mic 1 via the hardware encoder.
I can select the appropriate parameter but turning the encoder doesn't change the value.
If I change the value from TotalMix, the value on the UCX II hardware does reflect this change.

Any thoughts welcome. Thanks.

Re: UCX II Encoder doesn't change mix levels

Hi.
I toggle Chan/Mix from meter screen twice to get to "Mix to-" and select "Mix to Phones".
Rotate encoder down one level and toggle to select "Mic 1"
Toggle encoder and rotate to select "Fader" which reflects my TotalMix fader, then toggle encoder to change value.
At this point I should be able to rotate encoder to change Fader level I think but it doesn't do anything.
Hope that's clearer.

From the manual:

In online mode some settings are greyed out, as these should be changed only at the computer, in the Settings dialog or in TotalMix FX. These include the choice of sample rate and the mix settings.

Ah. Got it. Appreciate the response.

That option doesn't look visually greyed out. It seems in keeping with other changeable options like M/S Proc On/Off option in Mic 1 Settings for example.

Is there a particular reason why we shouldn't control these things from the encoder?
