Topic: [Solved] Updated driver and firmware now nothing

Updated my Fireface to the latest driver and firmware and now my DAW (Reaper) can’t find the device.
What’s going on?

M1 Mac Mini (2020)
Fireface UCX 2

What driver was installed before and which you install now?

I forget what the 'before' drive was but this one is the '3.33.'

Thanks for the links. I forgot that this is more of a 'security process' anymore.  My computer (mac mini m1, 2020) was already set to the 'reduced security....kernel extensions from independant developers.' setting.

I basically just needed to go into my System Settings, click on 'Privacy and Security'  and allow the extension to work.


System restart and it's working now!
