Topic: RME Warrenty

Hi, I am based in Australia but am on a job in Europe. If I purchase an RME product from a European distributor and take it back to Australia, is the warranty still valid?

What is RME’s warranty like ?

I think you have to apply for warranty at country of buy. Even in Europe or EU. That is general for all goods. But there may be exceptions if manufacturer accepts it...

Maybe that RME is one of those exceptions. Only RME can say.

Sure the warranty is valid. But that doesn't mean the Australian distributor has to take care of a unit he is not resonsible for! Means the customer has to ship it back to Europe if issues occur.

That's why we always say buy in your own country.
