Topic: Clicks and pops

Hello
Recently bought my Fireface UCX II a couple of weeks ago. I am getting a lot of clicks when recording audio into Logic Pro XI under Mac Ventura. I have checked to ensure all the settings are correct... I am wondering if am missing something or this is a known problem.

MacBook Pro M2
I have to experiment if it’s because I’m using inputs 3+4, also the audio levels come in very low… I have an Arturia Minifreak plugged in these inputs. I’ll switch the Virus TI and see if it’s the same. Thanks for your response.

Upgrade to Sonoma and use the newest driver 4.16 is what I suggest to do.

M1-Sequoia, Madiface Pro, Digiface USB, Babyface silver and blue

The manual explains how to change the input sensitivity of inputs 3 and 4.

For your clicks and pops - use a different USB connection. Use higher buffer sizes and Safety Offset. Etc.

Experimented with different buffer sizes, even at 512 till clicking… also the Safety Offset.
I connected the UCX directly to the MacBook pro, but then it being a Thunderbolt 4 port (M2 Macbookpro) maybe this creates even more problems. I’m considering connecting it to my Caldigit dock with the regular USB 2 cable. I did research online about the best way to connect it to the MacBook Pro but no conclusive responses. Any suggestions greatly welcome.
