Nope.
ManAbyss wrote:Hi there,
I own an RME-9632 and the additional AI4S-192 & AO4S-192.
After almost 20 years of impeccable performance I think it's time I upgraded to something more modern.
I have my eyes on the UCX II.
My questions are:
1. Will I be able to use the UCX II, the 9632 and the AI4S-192 AIO and AO4S-192 simultaneously if I want or will I have to uninstall the old ones?
Assumed you will use the UCX II as main interface.
You load the USB driver in the DAW.
You can use 9632 in kind of "standalone mode".
Connect 9632 to UCX II via ADAT.
Route the analog channels of 9632 through ADAT, then they will be available on the UCX II through ADAT.
Clock synchronization via ADAT.
Thats it.

Iimpossible to predict, try it out.
If it should not work, you can try all USB2 and USB3 ports.
If there are issues you might need a separate PCIe USB3 card. They are backward compatible to USB2.
If you get a new card get either the Sonnet with FL1100 chip or a card with a newer ASMedia ASM3142 controller.
