Topic: FireFace 400 not working with headphone/mic splitter

I have a FireFace 400 that I'm using under windows. If I plug my headset directly into the mic port the mic works, if I plug my headset directly into the headphones port, the headphones work, if I use a splitter to try and use both at the same time, the headphone part works, but I get nothing on the mic. What am I doing wrong??
I've tried two splitters from different manufacturers that I had lying around. This is one made by logitech:

Re: FireFace 400 not working with headphone/mic splitter

Hi Lain
Splitter alone is not working you need an adapter for providing phantom power to the mic.

These headsets are made for Notebook use.
These connectors of common Notebooks provide a low phantompower to the mic.
If you enable phantompower of the Fireface 48V it would destroy the mic.

You have to use a special adapter for lowering the phantompower to the useable level.
Then you have to switch ON phantompower 48V in the Fireface Settings Dialog (or in Totalmix mic input channel inside)

This Adapter is needed :
