Topic: Audio glitches occasionally and unexpectedly OSX 12.7.6

Hi !
I recently update my mac mini (late 2014) Intel Core i7,  8G ram, with a Monterrey 12.7.6 osx and I began to have audio glitches/crashes occasionally and unexpectedly...

This happens when Kernel cpu goes above 25 %... , If it is between 5-20 % audio is ok.... (Activity monitor mac)

I ve read your info guide in your web site and I follow the instructions regarding to osx 11 and up

I have a FIREFACE UFX  (usb) running with firmware V 3,61. and driverkit V 4,16 (I also tried the extension kernel 333, same problem)

Audio Software: Reason 12. ( you-tube, musecore and others apps in my mac have the same audio problem)

Can you help me with some tips or suggestions...?

Thanks in advance!

All the best!!
Claudio

What you can try :
In Audio-Midi-Setup of MacOS, create an aggregate device consisting of the UFX and select this aggregate-device as audio device in the DAW.

M1-Sequoia, Madiface Pro, Digiface USB, Babyface silver and blue

Hi Waedi
Thank you very much for your suggestion!. I had never heard of "aggregate-device...."
For several hours I ve been using the audio on my computer and it seems to work. No glitches at the moment....
I hope everything continues like this...

All the best!

Hi,

After a couple of days unfortunately the problem continues, the glitches are still there unexpectedly with all the applications that use audio through the Fireface UFX on the computer...
