Topic: Problem using old babyface in stand alone mode?

Hi,

I have an old babyface and trying to use it in standalone mode, I plug in the USB to many different plug sockets and it doesn't seem to work. It goes orange at the bottom of the level but I don't see anything coming in through the inputs. Is there something I have to do, a specific input perhaps to make it work?

I have also tried many different power supplies to the power port but that doesn't seem to do anything or it certainly isnt easy to tell whether it is doing something.

Would be grateful for any tips on how to get this working.

Cheers

N

Re: Problem using old babyface in stand alone mode?

ok so I can now see since I plugged in the input the level going up, but there is nothing coming out of the phones. If I plug the usb into the pc it works, then I unplug it and plug the usb into the power and I expect it to still keep working but it doesn't. Its like it turns off the headphone output when going onto usb power only.

See page 87 of the manual, and look for "copy mode".
