Topic: MADIface XT II I/O channel list in logic. Can I remove some?
Just got the XT II. Upgraded from the MADIface USB. I am using Ferrofish Pulse 16 MX with it. So I only have 16 analog I/O with the Pulse 16 plus the 2 FANTASTIC Analog I/O on the XT II. In Logic Pro, when selecting an input channel, I get a list of 192 MADI, and then the 2 analog ones are 193 and 194. Since I only actually have 16, is there anyway for me to let Logic know from the MADI drivers what I actually want to use? I got it figured out in Total Mix what to display. Am just getting used to using Total Mix (not in DAW mode). Super powerful routing! Love it.
Also, related, is there a way to tell Logic to use native RME drivers vs Class Compliant? (I'm using the driver kit version for Mac M chip) I assume it's using the RME drivers but I honestly don't know how to tell.
Thank you and I apologize if this has already been addressed. I searched but could not find a thread with my specific questions.
