Topic: FF400 Issue

Hello everyone,

I'm currently experiencing some strange midi issues with my FF400.
Since a few days, the midi notes aren't transmitted correctly to my DAW.
Sometimes a note is missed or they're double notes (the midi led on the device blinks accordingly).
I've tried both midi outs > same issue. Also swapped midi cable > same issue.
Thing is my FF power supply has stopped working recently (unknown reason) so currently my FF is powered thru the Firewire (directly plugged into my MacPro).

Any idea what to do next?

download Midi monitor

Check if the incoming Midi commands are faulty or not.

May be the DAW is doing wrong or your keyboard is sending faulty, Midi Monitor will show you.
