Topic: USB extension cable for fireface recording

If I get a good cable to extend the USB connection from the back of the fireface ucx 2, that won't affect performance, right?
Looking to rackmount the interface but I occasionally need to pull the USB thumb drive out.

If so, any recommendations on cable?

Good USB extension cables you can get from StarTech. USB3 and USB2 compatible.
