Topic: Fireface UFX CC mode - bootloop?

Hi all,
Im having trouble setting my Fireface UFX (fw 1.61) to CC mode. I need an ipad pro (m1, 2022) recording setup so I wanted to use my spare UFX to use with logic pro for iPad.
If i try to set the interface to CC mode, it gets into some kind of bootloop. The startup-screen appears, all the leds start flashing and the device just keeps going in this state. Its unusable until i factory reset it (cut the power, push mic/gain and knob1 at the same time and then turn it on). Any ideas?

Is there anything connected during this ? USB oder digital ?
I would disconnect all cables and try again.

Thanks for the reply. Nothing connected, apart from a patchbay thats connect to some of the line ins. Ill try to disconnect those.

Edit; same problem, no luck with nothing connected.

Ah ok. I meant only digital, not analog, also USB to any computer or iPad

There is nothing connected now, no ADAT, no USB, no firewire,… Still not working. Stucks in bootloop, but boots immediately when reset to factory by pressing mic/gain and knob1 simultaniously.

You may update the firmware, from your first post it is not up-to-date.

I will try, thanks. Is there any possible way to do this without a laptop? I only have mac M1 systems here.

Any computer can do, the Mac is no problem, download the Mac-FUT
