Topic: No sound Babyface Fs Windows 10 Cubase 12.0.70

Hello Everyone,

When I open Cubase , there’s no sound and meters on the tracks won’t turn ON.
I have to close Cubase, play audio from a player first then open Cubase again and the sound is fine.

Anyone had this issue before?
Fresh install win 10

Are you on the latest driver? I take it you have selected the fireface asio driver in Cubase? I’m not experiencing this although I’m on Cubase 13 now and win 11.

Babyface Pro Fs, Behringer ADA8200, win 10/11 PCs, Cubase/Wavelab, Adam A7X monitors.

Hello mkok,

Yes I'm on the latest drivers of this month. I also tried the one before.
Seems like it's a random issue. I don't have this on my second system.
I have to play audio on vlc before launching Cubase. Or select no device and back to
usb firewire in project setup.

I guess I'll have to endure the issue unless I format.

This sounds more like a misbehavior of Cubase on the ASIO driver.

Wonder if the new Cubase 13 will work better.
