Topic: Connect 2 MIDI devices to RME FF802

Hi all!

Hope you're doing well!

I have the following MIDI devices:

- Native Instruments A25 (25 MIDI keyboard)
- Native Instruments Maschine Mikro (MIDI pad)

Both of the devices have a USB port.

I would like to connect them to the MIDI I/O of the FF802 and was wondering if there's any way to connect them at the same time.

I don't really care about using them at the same time but it would be really nice to avoid connections/disconnections, routings, etc.

I'm not really familiar with the MIDI world and planning a studio session with a customer that uses the aforementioned MIDI devices.

Any ideas? Is there a USB to MIDI converter/splitter or should I simply get a USB Hub and connect everything to Mac?

No they only work through usb and both need driver by NI installed!

Takis,

without knowing what your final goal is, it is not possible to give you the right tipps.
MIDI piping/routing is possible between virtual and physical devices.

However, you have to make sure all 3 devices are connected to your mac at the same time, if you want to use them however without plugging cables in/out. (Dont know how many USB Ports you have on Mac).

A concrete example what you want to do, would be helpful to understand.
