Topic: How to tell new UFX II from old version?

Hi everyone
I'm about to upgrade my main interface, and I'm looking at either an 802 fs or an UFX II. I am pretty sure there was an update to the UFX II earlier this year, but as I suck at using the search function here I thought I'd just ask if I am correct?
And how do  you tell the new UFX II from the old one?

UFX II is now the same as UFX III except for MADI, see my blog article here:

So .. the UFX II got the changes of the digital section in the UFX III.

If you have the newer UFX II, then you are able in driver settings to set all three digital outputs (AES and the two ADAT I/O) to SPDIF protocol. The former devices allowed optical SPDIF only for ADAT2.

I would get the UFX II because it has the richer feature set, also AUTOSET and you can also control mic preamps and headphones digitally and store the values in TM FX snapshots.
