MACBOOK AIR M2 - 2022
macOs Sequoia 15.0.1

I have a babyface 23283127
Firmware v226
driver v3.33

I did the installation perfectly and i was working previously.
I could Record on LOGIC

Then, I worked on Logic without the babyface just to manage my mix on logic.
when I came back few days later to continue working with my baby face.. PB

TOTALMIX show this : BABYFACE (12345678) disconnected
FIREFACE USB setting show that my babyface is detected : but the number is 23283127

My babyface real number is 23283127

The sound of my babyface stopped working.
Then I open Logic and the sound is now working..
But totalmix is not working, I can ajust the sound or nothing.

I did again the full installation (DRIVER / FIRMWARE )
I connected the babyface to my other laptop, and it works showing BABYFACE (23283127)

Check if Totalmix is enabled for Microphone in the MacOS system preferences / Security and Privacy / Microphone.
For the Babyface Pro this is need, I'm not sure if the old Babyface has the same.

I just Checked, and Yes  TOTALMIX is enabled for the microphone.

By any chance in Totalmix top right corner where it says disconnected, can you click and select ?

TOTALMIX show this : BABYFACE (12345678) disconnected

The serial "12345678" indicates that you have set up "another" babyface as an offline device in TM.
As waedi just told: Probably you overlooked, that you can switch your device in TM via the dropdown at the top of the control strip?

I never noticed that as dropdow menu.
