Topic: RME 802 & Loopback not working

Hello,
I noticed, that my RME 802 interface is not working with Loopback by Rogue Amoeba anymore. I used this configuration for many years to do livestreams and it worked just fine. However, it does not work on my new Mac Mini M4, where I did a fresh install of the system, drivers and software. I followed your youtube guide to install the driver and it the interface works with Bitwig and Ableton. To troubleshoot this problem I tried Loopback with other audio interfaces and noticed, that it works. Just the RME 802 won't sent any audio into Loopback.

I need to have Loopback working with my RME again to work with OBS, Zoom and other apps. To clarify, I am not talking about the "loopback" function within RME Totalmix, but about the software "loopback" by Rogue Amoeba.

I am happy to assist in any troubleshooting of the problem.

Did you install the Driverkit driver 4.16?  Probably the kernel driver 3.33 will work.

Was that the right one to install?

Yes. Are the Loopback versions identical, I mean old computer and new?

Yes. I tried old installers as well as new unreleased beta builds, which Rogue Amoeba sent over. The 802 stopped working with Loopback on other computers as well, there is now configuration, where it works with MacOS 15.
