Topic: Babyface with usb 2 on Mac mini M4 pro

Hi everyone, I have a Babyface with usb 2 and I recently bought a Mac mini M4pro. I tried to connect the sound card with usb > thunderbolt adapters but the card is not recognized. After downloading the drivers and following the instructions it does not work and the mixer when I open it is not visible. Could anyone advise me on how to do it? Thank you very much!

Re: Babyface with usb 2 on Mac mini M4 pro

Connect the Babyface to the computer directly with a USB cable, no adapters no hub.
Install driver 4.16

What are these? Thunderbolt supports USB natively, no need for adapters here.

Re: Babyface with usb 2 on Mac mini M4 pro

Thanks guys! I managed to get it to work. I meant usb 2 to usb c adapter and not adapter sorry for the confusion. Anyway I then went to system settings > Privacy and Security and at the bottom of the page I authorized: Allow authorized app stores and developers and so everything worked.
Sorry for my English smile

Thanks for clearing this up and congratulations for having it working.
A flash update would be good as well.

Yes I was just downloading the flash update. Thanks!

Re: Babyface with usb 2 on Mac mini M4 pro

Babyface comes with the both, USB-c and USB2/3 cables. At least BF Pro FS does, currently. So, no need for USB-c to USB2/3 adapter.
