Topic: weird noise/interference with my RME babyface

When I play Audio in general from the computer, I have very strange micro cuts. It happens to me all the time, whether I'm playing Audio files from my laptop, Spotify, Ableton Live etc. Does anyone know why this happens? i´ve tried changing the USB cable and the problem remains the same. Could be the hub? what´s the best way to go direct to the computer with out using a Hub?
Here is a link with a video that shows the problem!

Re: weird noise/interference with my RME babyface

First I would update everything
Firmware is actually 206 for the Babyface Pro
The driver is at 4.16
The MacOS can be 15.1 Sequoia (it is not a must, but I recommend to upgrade, on my computer M1 it was no problem)

Connect the Babyface with one USB cable directly to the computer is best.
If your unit didn't include a USB-C cable you can get one everywhere.
The hicups in your video are coming from the DAW, reorganize the project, freeze some parts.

Re: weird noise/interference with my RME babyface

one-click-installation plus reboot
Can't be better !

totalmix is now 1.97 not beta
And curious the driver installer file is 9,3MB big and the included Totalmix app is 26,8 MB magic ! MP3 compression ?

Hey! I´ve updated everything, changed the cable ( going straight to the M1 macbook) and the problem remains! Any other idea why this could be happening? im going nuts here!

You changed from OS 13.6.6 to 15.1 and driver 4.10 to 4.17 and still have the same issue? Then there seems to be something installed on your Mac that stalls it.

You could try Kernel Extension driver 3.33 and set the Safety Offset to Large (in the driver's Settings dialog). That equals Apple's own Class Compliant drivers. But I am not very optimistic after seeing that video...
