Topic: Sonarworks SoundID and RME

Hello,

Not sure if this is the right subforum for this topic, so mods feel free to  move this to the correct location if needed.

I'm interested in deploying Sonarworks' SoundID if that can indeed be run on the interface, as described here: https://www.sonarworks.com/soundid-refe … rme-family

I guess my main question if it works on my UCXII, and if yes, how much latency would it add?

Actually, I just saw that it should work with the UCXII, so only the question of latency remains, both in samples and ms. Also, can I assume that the overhead is negligible?

SoundID does not "run" on the interface. You just import its correction values to the TotalMix-based Room EQ (something you can accomplish using other room correction tools, including the free REW software).

Hence the latency introduced by the DSP is indeed negligible.
