I own a Fireface Uc, when recording electric bass I get weird low frequency noise on the input, which is constantly shifting. It somehow corelates with the disk activity led. The fireface is plugged directly into the pc. Any ideas? I also get alot of noise from neighbours heat pumps, prom 6 to 12kHz. All this makes recording really hard and unpleasant.
