Topic: Adi-2 Dac FS and multiple use of USB?

Is it possible in any way to have PC connected to USB of the the RME to use the ADI 2 Remote APP and as second use USB from RME to connect to an external DAC? May be with some kind of USB Adapter or something? Or is only the one ore the other possible for that configuration? I would like to connect both because this is my setup I would prefer...

You want to connect an external DAC to the ADI-2 via USB? Impossible.

I explained it wrong!
I want to connect a network streamer via usb to the rme and at the same time I wish, I could use the remote ap via usb from PC. That`s what I ment.

USB always is a one point to one point connection.

ADI-2 can either connect to the streamer receiving audio, or the PC for remote control, not both at the same time.

This is not a question of hardware / cable links.
Using a USB hub or switch doesn‘t help.

If the PC (or iPad) is working as streamer it can control ADI-2 through the Remote at the same time, as this goes through the same driver / software interface.

Another option wpuld be to connect the streamer through the Optical or Coax or AES digital audio interface, and the PC through USB for remote.

An iPad can do that.
It can serve as a streamer while hosting RME ADI-2 Remote.
