Topic: ADI-2 pro FS R Black - PEQ on Digital Out

I am about to purchase ADI-2 PRO but:

Tried to figure out if PEQ setting selected on ADI will be available on digital output.

For the most of time I will use ADI-2 PRO as stand alone unit driving HE-1000SE Headphones or analog out to other headphone amp

BUT ALSO:

I have TACT MILLENNIUM MK4 amplifier (a kind of digital amplifier) with speakers output modified for headphones (HIFIMAN HE-adapter)
This amplifier have ONLY digital inputs.

I would like to have ADI-2 PEQ adjustment set for my headphones to be "available" on ADI-2 digital out (SPDIF or AES) so i can have PEQ availlable when I am using TACT...

TACT have own DSP processing but settings goes through application from PC connected via RS-232 and is very user unfriendly.

I have an ADI-2/4 Pro SE and have used it with my Ayre Acoustics QX-5 Twenty via AES.  I've also used the Optical Out.  When you make PEQ changes it does transmit the EQ'd signal digitally.  You will also have volume adjustment via the RME unit, if you wish.

Yes, it's like being able to add a EQ to your system but use your preferred D/A conversion.  The Balanced, Zero Feedback, Diamond circuit analog output stage of the Ayre QX-5 Twenty is magic and it's what I want to listen to.  That's one of the great things about these RME ADI units... they can do as much or as little as you want.  The can run the whole show (preamp / EQ / DAC) or just play a part (Digital PEQ Output).

Well, at 12,700 Euros for the Ayre QX-5 Twenty, it should be more than magical.
