Topic: Assigning Mute mic 1 to ARC
Is there a way to assign one of the buttons on the ARC-USB so that I can quickly mute my mic 1 (Analog 1)?

create a mute-group with only Mute Mic 1 in.
Assign the button in the Key Settings
Create a mute group (1..4), then assign it to an ARC USB key of your choice (of type "toggle").
Couple things I'm encountering when trying this mute group.
First of all, I've assigned it to the ARC remote just fine.
However...
It only works when the main output is in 'loopback'
And it only works on the live feed of my microphone. It does NOT mute the DAW audio
Thank you!
The main-out is assigned to wich output channel ?
How do you find out if mute works or not ?
By listening on the headphone ?
Are you aware that mute is muting the signal on the active submix ? If that signal is routed to multiple outputs it still is present there.
What you can do : use a snapshot where the DAW software playback is silent by Trim-mode (click the T-button) and pull down the fader.
Then the channel is silent to every destination (muted entirely).
The snapshot is directly selectable on the ARC

Tried it and it muted everything out but it...muted EVERYTHING out.
I'd still like to be able to hear the people on the end of the Zoom connection even when I, for instance, press the right button on the ARC to mute out a cough or throat clearing.
Then the mix in the snapshot is not good.
You may have to set the mix as it works and save this to a snapshot.
The snapshot only recalls wat you did configure.
Instead of mute-button try fader-down of the mic-input for the hardware output to the conference.
