Topic: Installing I connectivity MIDI interface instead of using UCXII MIDI?

Hi guys ,

I appreciate the  UCX II ‘s  din sockets nevertheless some  of my gear is USB socketed .

Once Reading 21-4 manual about MIDI there’s no surprise  I may get some problems ( due to the limited MIDI bandwith ) when   running  multiple programs simultaneously .

I’m thinking of connecting my I connectivity MIDI  MIO interface (din and USB ) directly on my computer instead of using the UCX II din sockets in a daisy chain

Please tell me if there is any danger to work the two systems side by side i.e MIDI via I Connectivity interface and audio with the UCX  in my DAW ( Samplitude XPro 8).

You configure in the application, which MIDI I/O port to use. You are free to use the one or the other.
