Topic: Multiface II Cardbus on macOS Sequoia

Hey guys, how are you?

Wondering if it would possible to use my MFII with cardbus with this adapter into my M4 Mac Mini... Tried using my other Expresscard MFII and works great. Im planning to use the same Sonnet Echo Pro ExpressCard/34 Thunderbolt Adapter
and the Apple TB2 to TB3 adapter.

You have two Multifaceted ll ? And with the adapters and the Sonnet device it is working ?

I don't see a point why the other Multiface would not work.

The one working is using the HDSPe ExpressCard; I was hoping to use the cardbus one with this adapter...

CardBus is PCI while ExpressCard is PCI Express. That won't work beacuse there is no PCI driver for M4.

Gotcha. Whats the latest OSX that has drivers available for the kind of setup I’m talking about. Thanks!

Latest Intel Mac driver for PCI cards is from 2008, 10.4.8 and up... The adapter won't help much, if at all.
