Topic: Midi remote loses midi contact

Hello

I have a saved a workspace with MidiiRemote controlling three Micstassy?s.
On start up, it changes the midi in/out configuration so that I each time have to set it up manually and find the right interface. This happens no matter if I use Madi as connection or the Motu Midi Express.
Any solutions to this?

Thank you for your time.
Best regards, Thomas

Re: Midi remote loses midi contact

I have a similar issue with remote control.
Many times i have to reset the midi output to madi channel 3 to obtain remote control.  As if the software forgets the remote midi settings.
I would like to set and forget.

Re: Midi remote loses midi contact

Is that only a problem when you change your MIDI devices? Means the setting is wrong when you remove the Motu?

the setting goes wrong when i don't boot up with mackie control pro and its 4 USB ports in winxp... otherwise all fine..

Re: Midi remote loses midi contact

That's quite logical. We do not store the MIDI port name, we store the port reference, its number. We will try if we can change that.

Re: Midi remote loses midi contact

In my case, the hardware setup is always the same. I dont remove the Midi Express. But for some reason at boot,  Midi Remote defaults to FF800?s mididriver even when the workspace is properly saved to the Midi Express settings.
