Topic: Control the YAMAHA AD8HR with com thru madi ?

Hello,

I just built a system around a DM2000 (V2.40) with 4 yamaha MY madi cards (1 master-3 slaves) 6 Yamaha AD8HR, 1 RME 6432, 2 MADI Bridges & 1 RME 642

The DM2000, 642 & one bridge will stay at the mixer position when the 6 preamps, the 6432 & The bridge will stay on stage, plus some extra converters for the outputs.

Everything is working great except the HA remote.

Do i miss something like rs 232 > 422 converters ? does the com port has to be bi-directional thru madi to work with the preamps ?

Yes, we only support RS232. Converter boxes are needed if you have to use RS422.
