Topic: HDSPe AES as a multichannel player

I currently use a Lynx L22 and LS-AES extender with both Foobar or Reaper to edit and play 6 channel 88.2KHz files from my Windows XP based hard drives out to a EMM DAC8 external DAC. I'd like to upgrade to the HDSPe AES, and would appreciate conformation that it will play files as my current Lynx/Foobar/Reaper does.

It's your audio application that plays the files, not the soundcard. If Foobar can play them and send them to a Lynx card's individual outputs, it should be able to do so with the AES card.
