Topic: ADI-8 AE problem - spikes

I getting spikes about very 45 seconds. Noticeble when in record ready. Running PT on Mac OS9.2 with a digi 001 - ADAT mode. Sounds like capacitor discharging. Makes recording impossible without spikes all over the track - suggestions? AmI having a hardware component failure issue?

Possibly - if so, then the unit will need repair...

Have you made sure it's the converter, not some other device in the chain?
