Topic: FF400 Windows 7 problems - reverted to legacy MS firewire driver

While trying to make my FF400's spdif working I changed the "Limit Bandwith" to Analog+SPDIF and then I only got a pulse sound from my FF400 analog out. Changing it back only to Analog, it played music, any other option only the pulse sound. I tried reverting to the MS legacy firewire driver and everything worked fine again. Now I can use all "Limit Bandwith" options and the analog out play fine.
I'm using Windows 7 RC1, driver 2.9991 and firmware 1.70.

Would it be any problem with the RC1, or could it be any problem not yet overcome by the 2.9991 driver? This seems to be a very obvious problem for not being detected yet...

For now, I will keep using the legacy driver, I have no problems with it.

The RME driver developers have mentioned several times already that the RC has a lot of bugs in Firewire.

Thanks.
I will keep using the legacy driver until I decide to switch for the retail version.

Edit: I think it would be preferable if one of the Mods changed the title from "Windows 7" to "Windows 7 RC1", to avoid confusing people. My mistake not adding it when I created the thread...
