Topic: FF800 Windows 7 64bit drivers?

Hello,
I just downloaded the new drivers for the ff800 (win_fire_29991.zip) and installed under Win7 pro 64bit.

But... the windows task manager is showing the total mix and FF drivers as *32; does that mean these drivers are 32bit and not 64, or have I done something wrong?
There are no details available on how to install the correct 64bit drivers from scratch on Win 7, or have I missed that info somewhere as well?

Also, I set my Texas instrunments controller to Legacy but didnt restart before installing Fireface. Total Mix is completely flacky and keeps hanging. My guess is I should have restarted after doing the Legacy trick....

Would be gratefull for any guidance on the issues above.

Sid

Re: FF800 Windows 7 64bit drivers?

Thanks Daniel.
All up and running now. Surprisingly trouble free so far in Nuendo 4.3 and Wavelab 6.1.1 (touch wood)!!

There was a problem getting sound out of the Windows Media Player for DVDs only (music files worked fine).
I had to go to advanced settings for the chosen playback device under windows sound and
untick "Allow application to take exclusive control of this device".
After that everything was fine even in Media Player :-)))
Hope that helps someone.
