Topic: fireface 400 and W7

hello,

New computer: P55-i5-Quad with Windows 7 and Fireface 400.
System sounds, DAW (Samplitude), cd's, internet radio: everything works fine, except dvd sound in Windows mediaplayer only givs loude Crackle sound!!!!
No other soundcard is installed.

Have you tried other DVD player software?

Hello Daniel,

thanks for your fast reply!
I did download the freeware VLC mediaplayer and the problem was solved.
But I still am curious why i have that problems with the Windows media player..

Try to check the the diver that windows media player use.....  Use the MME..  output....
