Topic: Fireface UC and new MacPro 8-core performance

Hi, I guess my question is. Will the FFUC run better than the FF400 on my Brand new MacPro 8-core 2.26 with 8gigs of ram... running 64bit logic 9.1 on OS X 10.6.2? I just ordered the UC and I'm confused on the USB latency vs the FF FireWire 400. I heard that the UC has less latency than the FF FireWire 400 but it's dependent on your sysetem. Seeing I have a newer system Im guessing my performance will be great, right? What type of latency times will I be looking at? Thanks!

I think I see how to read that chart... So I guess I made the right choice then by getting the FFUC vs the FF400 for my set up... Correct? Is the FFUC going to be supported in logic 9.1? I would love to keep it on 64bit for the ram.
