Hello guys!

I want to buy a RME interface, but don't know which one:
a) Fireface400
b) Multiface II/HDSPe ExpressCard

1. THE PREMIC ISSUE
I already have a premic StudioProjects VTB1.
So, maybe I don't need another premic (I mean, the one in FF400) at all?
Which premic is better? The one in StudioProjects VTB1? Or the one in FF400?
I mean, if I already have a premic in the VTB1, do I really need a FF400, which is more expensive then MultifaceII?

2. THE CONNECTION ISSUE
Is there a need to connect FF400 to the new MacbookPro17 via Express Card?
Otherwise I'd simply connect it via Firewire, couldn't I?
I mean, do I really need a HDSPe ExpressCard in order to connect  the FF400 to my Macbookpro17?
