Topic: crest_96 peak level

Some other users reported to me that this test file gives a peak level at -6dBFS. I brought it up in Audacity and Reaper and saw that as well. I understand this file has a 0dBfs peak, even though at high crest factor.

Could you please explain?

This file does not have 0 dBFS peak. I have no clue why - too old. The 44.1 kHz version works ok.
