Hi all,

I'm currently using a Multiface II which is often slaved to a Cranesong HEDD (via word clock).  I am thinking about adding an ADI-4 so I can convert the Multiface ADAT to AES for other outboard uses (i.e. digital effects).  I would probably connect the HEDD to the ADI-4 as well so.

With these three devices in play, what would be the ideal timing scenario?  Add another word clock cable (daisy chaining)?  Or would internal ADAT clocking between the MFII and ADI-4 suffice?  This stuff gets more confusing with each device..

I realize a clock distribution device would probably be the best best way but was hoping not to resort to yet another piece of gear...
