Topic: Multiface error

Hello

Hammerfall DSP PCI Interface card Rev 1.8 and Multiface stopped working.

Reseated PCI card and moved to another slot.

Error.

Studio down. Can this be repaired?

Error light stays on. No input or output.

The lesson here is to always have a backup for critical gear.

It took 6 days to ship Multiface and PCI card to Ohio.
6 days for authorized service center to tell me they don't repair cards.
Purchased a new card from another dealer.
Now I've lost my window this week to pay $45 bench fee to have Multiface shipped back.
New card will arrive before Multiface.
If all goes well studio will only be down for a month.

Live and learn.

An app for troubleshooting hardware would also be handy.
