Topic: Firewire cable macpro

Hello guys i just recieved my fireface 400. Now i notice that the firewire cable includes the package doesn't fit to my macpro?! I think it's rahter noobie but what is the solution? If i buy a ( I red on another topic ) 4.5m FireWire Active Extension Cable, will it work for me than?

You need a FW400 to FW800, aka 9 pin to 6 pin Firewire cable, like this: Alva Audio
